Dear Ingles Markets Executive,
Thank You! for chatting with me on November 22, 2023, about our upgraded system for managing bulk products in the Produce Department of Ingles Markets #53.
Our system allows us to maintain a higher standard for our bulk product display while saving about four hours of labor per week. Four hours is not much of a savings by itself. If, however, we were to save 4 hours at just $10.00 per hour for 52 weeks in 161 stores, we would save Ingles Markets one-third of a million dollars each year. That is something special for such a small corner of Ingles business.
You mentioned sending someone to check out our upgrades and savings. I look forward to meeting that person to discuss how we do it in Clemson and how we might scale our upgrades and savings company-wide.
